1-2 1st, 2nd and 3rd men and women, taking hands at the sides, set and
3-4 Circle six hands half round to the left.
5-8 They repeat this back to places.
9-12 1st couple turn by the right hand, cast off one place on own sides and go to face first corners (2nd move up on 11-12).
13-16 1st couple set to corners and, turning right, end between corners.
17-24 1st and 2nd couples dance rights and lefts right round and continue into
25-28 Half a grand chain for three couples (see figure 1). They take three steps for the three hands and on the fourth the women turn right about and form a circle with the men (see figure 2).
29-30 They circle six hands half round to the left.
31-32 1st couple, giving right hands, cross back to own sides, 2nd place.
Repeat, having passed a couple.
