Music: The wee cooper o' Fife, Last May a braw wooer & O wha's at the window? arranged by Peter White (see Dances to Song Tunes for the music).

1-4 1st couple set and cross over, giving right hands.
5-10 They set again, lead down, cross back and cast up round 2nd couple to original places.
11-20 1st and 2nd couples dance rights and lefts once and a quarter round, finishing in partners' places.
21-22 Taking hands at the sides, 1st and 2nd couples set to partners, and
23-24 Dance right hands across half round.
25-26 They set again, and
27-28 Dance left hands across half round.
29-30 Then 1st woman and 2nd man, retaining left hands, turn just over half round, while 1st man casts off and 2nd woman casts up to prepare for a reel of four across the dance (see figure 1).
31-38 Reel of four : to begin, partners pass each other right shoulder (see figure 2).
39-40 Partners pass each other right shoulder (see figure 2 again) and dance out to own sides, 1st couple to 2nd place, 2nd to top place.
Repeat, having passed a couple.
